RSPB Lakenheath Fen

I managed to photograph this greenfinch as it confronted another by the feeders at Lakenheath Fen.

This kingfisher kindly perched on the branch in front of the Mere Hide. Although regular 'posers' in some years, weather conditions in 2025 made fishing difficult from that perch.

Long-tailed tits regularly visit the feeders at the photography hid in winter, and the setting is ideal for pictures like this.
